West Bengal is located in the northeastern portion of India, stretching from Nepal and Bhutan in the north to the Bay of Bengal in the south. It is bordered on the east by Bangladesh. Although geographically it isn't very big, it offers up the Himalayas in the north, and tropical beaches in the south, and is also a very diverse state culturally, ethnically, and religiously.
The city Darjeeling is one its most visited places, and is known for location in the mountains, its views, and is famous for its tea. There is also its capital city of Calcutta, known as the city of Mother Theresa.
